Mildura Airport aims to provide a facility that allows accessibility for the whole community, including passengers and visitors with disabilities and special needs.

Parking
Designated accessible car parking bays are located in both the short and long term car parks.

Arrival at the Airport
Please ensure that you arrive at the airport in plenty of time before your flight.  Your travel agent or airline will advise the check in time for your flight and you should allow at least 30 minutes prior to your flight departure time.

Hearing assistance
Signs incorporating the international symbol for deafness are located at the Check In Counter which is fitted with a hearing loop.

Members of the public can access via the hearing loop to their hearing aids or cochlear implants.

Please turn your hearing aid to the t-switch position, or select the telecoil program on your hearing aid or cochlear implant. The telecoil inside the hearing aid must be activated in order to access the hearing loop.

Accessible Toilets
Fully accessible toilets are located in the departure lounge/café area.
Toilets are also located adjacent to the arrivals area.

Wheelchair access
You can use wheelchair friendly concrete walkways to access the terminal without negotiating any steps.

Special Circumstances
If you require a wheelchair or specific seating requirements for a guide dog or assistance animal this can be arranged through your airline or travel agent when making your flight booking, prior to arrival at the terminal.

Medical Implants
Passengers with medical implants such as pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators, insulin pumps or cochlear implants must be careful when passing through airport security as they may need to avoid the walkthrough metal detector, please alert our staff if this is required.

It is important that you have your implant identification card with you.

Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off
Passenger pick-up and drop-off points are located in front of the terminal building roadway and will allow a maximum stopping time period of two minutes. The driver of the vehicle must remain with the vehicle at all times.

Kerb ramps and accessible paths of travel have been provided to these areas.

Flight Information and Displays
Information display screens are located near departure gate and will provide information regarding flight arrival and departure times, gate numbers and boarding calls. This information is updated to indicate flight delays and information when flights have landed.

Baby Change Facilities
Baby change facilities are located in the departure lounge and provide a valuable resource for parents requiring these facilities.

Access to/from Aircraft
Passengers with limited mobility or other disabilities can request assistance from airline crew for boarding and disembarking. Please ensure you notify the relevant airline or agent at the time of booking with confirmation prior to travel to allow appropriate assistance to be provided at the time of boarding and disembarking from the aircraft.

Lifting devices are available for lifting passengers onto and off the aircraft and airline crew will assist passengers in boarding and disembarking.

Passengers who are unable to access stairs must make this known when making airline booking and also at check-in so the lift can be arranged.

Guide Dogs and Assistance Animals
Guide dogs and other accredited assistance animals are welcome inside the terminal and on the aircraft, where the animal is assisting a person with a sensory impairment. Your identification card should be carried.
