Mildura Airport Instrument Landing System (ILS) Implementation

Online Survey

Mildura Airport will soon begin using a newly installed a safer landing technology called an Instrument Landing System (ILS) on one of its two runways, Runway 09. This new system will assist pilots in making safe landings in poor weather conditions, further support pilot training and will greatly enhance aircraft and airport safety at this critical piece of infrastructure for the region

Due to Mildura’s remote location, we do not anticipate a large number of aircrafts using the ILS. For more information, please visit the website to learn more.

While the impacts will be minor, we would like to ensure that community members are aware of this change and have been provided an opportunity to share feedback or identify other information you may need to understand more about the ILS.

This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
