About the Mildura Airport

Since 2008, Mildura Airport has been proudly operated by an independent board and management team – a move celebrated by the aviation community.

In 2013, we were honoured as joint winners of the Australian Airports Association “Airport of the Year” award, recognising us as Victoria’s best regional airport and one of Australia’s most innovative and forward-thinking hubs. Serving as a vital gateway for business and tourism, we’re passionate about supporting the region’s growth by connecting people and opportunities.

Our 2025 Airport Master Plan sets the stage for exciting upgrades, including a refreshed terminal and airport precinct designed to meet the needs of our growing community.

With a strong focus on collaboration, we work closely with local businesses, airlines and a thriving general aviation sector, including – flight training, patient transport and air freight to deliver seamless services.

Mildura Airport is more than just a travel hub; it’s a community partner, welcoming everyone to experience the best of what we offer and stay connected to Australia’s major cities

Mildura Airport has embraced sustainability by installing solar panels across its facilities, harnessing the power of the sun to generate clean, renewable energy. This solar energy system helps reduce the airport’s reliance on traditional power sources, cutting down on electricity costs and lowering its carbon footprint. By investing in solar energy, Mildura Airport contributes to environmental preservation while promoting a more sustainable future. The use of solar panels not only supports the airport’s green initiatives but also serves as a model for energy efficiency and innovation in the region.

Gardens Background Image

Gardens

Mildura Airport is committed to sustainability by repurposing used coffee grounds as a natural fertiliser for our precinct gardens. By collecting coffee grounds from the cafe, the airport reduces waste, while enhancing soil health. Coffee grounds are rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, making them an effective and eco-friendly addition to garden beds. This initiative not only supports the airport’s sustainability efforts but also promotes a greener, more vibrant landscape, demonstrating Mildura Airport’s dedication to environmental responsibility and resourcefulness.
